Instrument Description
This one of the most unusual player pianos we have ever seen. It is an Apollophone Player Piano built by Melville Clark Piano Co. What makes this piano so unique is that it has a fully functional phonograph built into the top of the cabinet right next to the music roll! The idea was that while the piano roll was rewinding, the phonograph could play, keeping your guests entertained without an awkward moment of silence! These Apollophone pianos are exceedingly rare, and are among some of the most sought after pianos collected by today's enthusiast. This instrument is made of Honduras Mahogany, and will be restored to perfection in every detail. Apollo instruments are very desirable due to their high quality and craftsmanship. It can be played manually by hand as well as mechanically with the roll. An original matching bench is included..
