This small piano is an unusual Marshall & Wendell Victorian cottage upright piano built in 1888. Marshall & Wendell built pianos in New York from about 1875 until 1953. This instrument was designed for small cottage homes and city dwellings of the era, and would be perfect for a small Victorian parlor. It is made of dark rosewood, and has beautiful cut out work on the front grills. This piano is currently being restored to like new condition, and it has a wonderful tone and touch. It comes with an original matching stool, and can be fitted with a computerized player mechanism if desired.
