This is a nice Greek Revival Style Victorian upright piano built by the M. Schulz Piano Company of Chicago in 1907. Schulz built high quality, expensive pianos from about 1869-1933 (The company was originally called Otto Schulz Piano Company). According to the original sales catalog (see photos), this piano was sold as the "Style Z". This piano is made of beautifully carved mahogany wood with elaborate panels, legs, and moldings. Note the handsome Greek pillar-style legs. Compare the "before" and "after" photos - the transformation is just amazing! An original matching stool is included, and this piano can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired.
