Instrument Description
This piano is truly breathtaking. It was built by the Bernard Shoninger Piano Company of New Haven, CT, in 1902. B. Shoninger built high quality, expensive pianos from 1850-1929, one of the many American piano companies to go under with the great depression. This piano has a beautiful golden quarter sawn oak wood under the old, deteriorated finish, and will be truly stunning after restoration. Pianos like this simply aren't readily available today. They would have been afforded only by the wealthy of the era, hence their rarity today. This piano comes with a matching stool, and can be equipped with computerized player mechanisms if desired.
