Instrument Description

Sterling built high quality, expensive pianos in Derby, Connecticut from 1866-1960...nearly a whole century. This piano was built just after the turn of the century, and is made of the highly decorated Victorian style which was popular in most lavish parlors of that era. It is made of beautiful mahogany wood with ornately carved moldings and panels. It still has a beautiful ivory keyboard, and a very powerful, deep tone that is typical of the larger upright pianos. This piano will be restored to like new condition, and comes with an original antique matching stool. This piano can be fitted with the computerized player mechanisms if desired.
