Instrument Description

The Norris & Hyde Piano Company was established in 1873 in Neponset, Massachusetts, and they were known for building very good quality pianos and player pianos. This player piano is one of their higher-grade models, as it is a larger, more elaborate model than most. Note the attractive inset panels and carved moldings. This piano is made of beautiful mahogany wood, and will be stunning after restoration. It can be electrified if desired, which will not interfere with the original foot-pumping mechanisms. An original matching bench is included.
