Instrument Description
The early 20th Century saw a revival in classic historical furniture styles and finishes. This is a stunning custom made Spanish Mission style baby grand piano that would have been designed for a period style Southwestern, Spanish or Craftsman style home.
This piano was custom designed and finished in the rare "Spanish Mission" style. It is made of beautiful walnut wood, and is finished in a distressed red crackle finish with natural walnut, black lacquer and gold accents. Note the intricately carved legs which are supported by beautiful wrought ironwork. One can only imagine what palatial period-inspired estate was originally home to this beautiful piano. This piano has been restored to historically correct standards, and is like new in every detail. This beautiful piano has a smooth, even tone which would best be described as "warm and mellow". This is an instrument which is a joy to play!
Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired. A matching bench is included.
