Instrument Description
Haines Brothers was one of New York's larger piano manufacturing companies, and they were known for building exceedingly well made upright and grand pianos for decades. This beautiful parlor grand piano is made of lovely French Walnut wood and boasts beautifully carved legs and scalloping along the entire case. This lovely design gives an overall formal and elegant look while maintaining a delicate balance of simplicity and grace. Note the exquisite carving on the legs, music rack and pedal lyre. This piano is a "parlor grand" size, just a big larger than the traditional baby grand piano. It is being restored to like new condition, and the tone is magnificent. This is truly a very special piano from a special time in America's piano building history. The original matching bench Louis XV style duet bench, which is designed to accommodate 2 people, is included. This piano can be equipped with a computerized player mechanism if desired.
