Instrument Description

This is a stunning square grand piano built by McDonald & Company of New York City during the height of the lavish Victorian era. It is made of Brazilian Rosewood, and the keyboard is made entirely of Mother-Of-Pearl instead of ivory! Both exquisite Mother-Of-Pearl inlay and hand painted designs of wildlife and flowers grace the front panel of the instrument. This piano would have been one of the most elaborate, expensive instruments of its time. This piano will be restored to like new condition inside and out. An original matching stool is included.
