Instrument Description
Ivers & Pond was one of America's most renowned piano makers. Established in 1880, they built exceptionally well made, expensive pianos in Boston. This stunning piano was known as the "Florentine Model", and is made in the highly desirable Louis XV style. The grain in the mahogany wood is stunning, and the finish is done in an "Old World" Dull Mahogany Finish. Note the elegantly carved legs, music rack, and pedal lyre. This piano has been restored to like-new condition inside and out. A matching Louis XV bench is included.
This piano has been equipped with computerized player mechanisms and it plays wirelessly from a CD, IPOD, or computer hard drive. Although the piano has been equipped with the Pianomation player system, it does not change the manual playability of the instrument in any way.
